Psst, want some news...

Over in the forum we've announced the names of the new "Dragons Clan" pieces that are coming out next year.

First View of Clans

Forum users - get yourselves into the forum where you can see an image of the new clan dragons original sculptures. The detail on them in astounding, and hopefully will be evident on the finished pieces too.

As for a release date, we've been told that the three models have been approved, so keep a look out for them in early 2009 (if the quality is high enough).

Why we think Xystos listen

In October we asked you whether you thought that Xystos listened to their collectors. Well, the vote has closed and the results - shown here - really do speak for themselves. Here at DragonsCavern we think that yes, they do listen.

Take for example our idea for a new trilogy (The Dragon Clan trilogy). We first mentioned this idea in the forum back in August 2006 when Watsons owned The Tudor Mint.
When Xystos took over and asked for ideas we mentioned this to them. That was earlier this year. Only a few months down the line and we're expecting to [hopefully] see the first photos of the finished pieces soon.

Less than a year from idea to production. We certainly think they listen.

Your input required

Club members, here's a recent message from Xystos - placed into the forum;

I am currently working on the latest edition of the Methtintdour Times, to be with you late October. If anybody out there has anything that they would like putting into the Classifieds Section just send me a Private Message (you'll need to visit the forum to do this) with the details or email club@tudormint.info.

Also, if you have any ideas, stories, photos, drawings or just anything you think others would be interested in send them to me.     Remember - it’s your magazine.

The 3 F's

Sorry for the lack of activity on the site since late August. It's been a bit rough around here over the past month. The 3 F's have struck hard; Family, Felines and Finance.
We will be putting out a newsletter shortly, and also trying to catch up with mountain of emails that are sat waiting in the inbox.
We'll be in touch again shortly...

Sneaky Peak

In your exclusive area on the website you can now view images of the designs for next years presentation piece (CC19) as well as both members only studies (9038 and 9039). Study names are given below each image.

#9038 is 204mm x 141mm (without its base), #9039 is 115mm x 76mm and #CC19 is 98mm x 72mm.

Coloured Additions

We've just added several images of studies that have been specially painted to the prototypes and rare studies pages of the website.
'Eowyn', 'Wormtongue' and 'An Orc' from the Lord of the Rings range are there, along with 'Amethustos' (the 2007 year piece) and 'The Woodland Spell' (2007 Extravaganza piece).
See them here.
Many thanks to TMCollectables for allowing us to use these images.
