Here at DragonsCavern we have just run some tests using a dynamic online tool called Sitescore that rates a website using several key factors; marketing, design, accessibilty, experience and a visitor rating.
We're quite pleased that our amateur site has received a rating as high as some professional sites (ie Sun and Google UK).
Not only that, but the rating could rise with more positive visitor votes. If you have time, click on the sitescore image in the left column on this page and rate the website. Thanks.

We've just added an image for the last of the elusive standard sized studies, and as a result the entire standard section is now image complete.
In fact, with the exception of one commission piece, (N021 - The Oracle) and two chess sets, every single image from the Myth and Magic, Hobbit, King Arthur, Lord of the Rings, Dark Secrets and Pewter Eggs ranges are now included.
When we started this task back in February 2003 with just the main M&M collection, we honestly did not think we would be able to obtain all the images that we have.
And we have to say - it's down to collectors that it has been possible, so a big THANK YOU from DragonsCavern for the help and support you have offered.
Now, has anyone seen that N021, The Oracle, and those other images for the other collections...

Recently we received an email from Melissa, a collector, asking us to examine one of the pieces within the main Myth and Magic collection - 3812 The Timekeepers. She said;
'I also have a piece called the time keepers that has 2 7's and no number 8..'
Well, we've looked at several of these and it seems that they all are missing 8 o'clock. Not only that but after speaking to the Tudor Mint we have been told;
'...it was obviously
a mistake and my guess is that no-one ever picked it up.'
Maybe dragons like their dinner so much they eat at 7 o'clock, twice!!
Hot on the heels of the announcement that the new Crystal Mementos section was now live, we can announce that the "big project" that was the building of the Land of the Dragons section as well as the Spellbound section is completed.
The LotD section contains details of all the studies released from the original lands, all the dragon types as well as the other Land of the Dragon releases - dragonets, candlesticks, picture frames, waterballs, etc. We still require images for some of these studies, and if you can help we would be very grateful for any image submissions.
In the meantime - please explore the new areas. You'll be amazed at the number of studies released in the Land of the Dragons range.
We have solved a long running problem of images on the subscribers page not displaying for non-subscribers. The problem was that everytime the page loaded, it was trying to pull the images from within the subscribers section, and asking for a password for each image. We have looked into it and it has been solved. Non subscribers can now see the images that they were meant to see all along.
Apologies for this error.
