Four grand

Tonight, the Forum has reached 4,000 posts  - that's 4,000 comments, thoughts and opinions on Myth and Magic and other Tudor Mint ranges.

We think that by Christmas we'll have reached, or even passed the 5,000 mark.

Why not become part of the forum and help make 5,000...

Mixed Fortunes

Collectors will be aware that H.Samuels have a second trilogy exclusively available to them. Following "The Treasure Seekers" trilogy, "The Fortune Finders" (Unicorn / Wizard / Dragon) are being released over several months for you to buy, collect the tokens that come with them, and then receive the bonus treasure chest piece direct from the Tudor Mint. (You can see what the completed set will look like on the TM website in the news section).
Well, DragonsCavern forum members have been very active discussing these items, as there have been several *issues* obtaining information about them, but we're pleased to say that, after speaking to Samuels, the second piece in now at the warehouse, and already in some stores. However, it is not The Wizard (Sig 21) as expected, it is The Dragon (Sig 22). The Wizard should be available sometime in the New Year.
We have no idea why the releases have been mixed up, just glad that the next piece is now available.
Now if only it could be ordered directly from the H.Samuels website...

Design(er) clothing

Feel like wearing a dragon on your T Shirt? Or maybe a unicorn, or a wizard? Well, we've added a new feature to the left column of the blog that shows you two randomly selected dragon/wizard/unicorn designs from cafepress.com. Simply click, find the image on something you like (clothing, kitchenware, stationery, etc) click and order it! How simple is that?!!

Time to kill

We've just added 5 - yes 5!! - new games to play in the subscribers area of the website.
The new games are;

- Dungeon Escape - a stick man version of DragonsLair
- Dragon Dash - you have 60 seconds to fly as far as possible
- Magic Quest - a massive RPG for children to play and enjoy
- Angry Old Wizard - help the wizard beat the Ring wraiths
- Gordy's Lunch - feed Gordy dragonflies, and avoid the hunter

Try them out - they're addictive!

Christmas is coming, and are you wondering what to get the youngsters?
Well, we have some suggestions for you. From the Dragonology range of books there is a 2007 calendar with wonderful images and facts for each month, and also the first of four novels - The Dragon's Eye. The synopsis of the novel goes;

This is the first in a series of four novels for children, illustrated by Douglas Carrell. A whole new cache of Dr. Drake books has been discovered. If you've opened up your latest edition of the Myth and Magic collectors club magazine - The Methtintdour Times - and thought "Is that DragonsCavern ?", then the answer is yes, it is! Jean at the TM asked us a while back if she could include an article about us, and there it is in the 40th edition!
In addition, there are photos of several forum members / their families / their vans (!!) in the latest edition too as they have been explaining in the forum.
