Magazines updated

More new copies of the Methtintdour Times - issues 37 and 38 - have been added to the subscribers section for you to view and enjoy using our Flash 'Flipviewer' feature. To view these, please subscribe to the monthly newsletter feature.

*These two magazines now put us up to date as our agreement with the Tudor Mint allows us to digitize a magazine 18 months after it is sent out. Issue 39 will be added to the website when the newest edition (#43) is sent to members of the collectors club.

Cheaper listings

We are pleased to announce that from 1st September until 31st December 2007 we are reducing the price of the Gallery Listing Upgrade feature (gallery picture) for items listed in the Media and Collectables categories using any format (excluding Shop Inventory Format). Instead of costing the normal 15p, a gallery picture costs just 5p until the end of the year.

Many items listed in the Media and Collectables categories don’t have a gallery picture, and we know that buyers love to see what’s on offer. The use of a gallery picture greatly increases interest from buyers and helps to convert listings into sales, so if you haven’t used a gallery picture before, now’s the time to give it a go.

Keeping an eye on eBay

Have you noticed the new addition at the top of this page? We've added a scrolling marquee showing the latest Myth and Magic sales on eBay.
As we're pulling these sales from RSS feeds, we should be around 30mins - 1 hour behind any new additions that get added to eBay. Not bad!

Just a thought...

Myth and Magic studies are made in China. There is a lot of news at the moment regarding imported goods from China being unsafe; dogfood with contaminated substances in, toothpaste not fit for human use, plastic toys with unsafe levels of lead in the paint. As a result of this, containers of goods are currently sitting near Chinese ports instead of being shipped across to the UK. With this news, two things spring to mind;

1. Do the new studies have unsafe levels of lead in them?
2. Will the newest releases (due around October) be delayed because of containers being held back in China?

Let's hope not. These studies have already been delayed due to the transfer of The Tudor Mint from Watsons to Xystos.
