To Feed or not to Feed

As you may be aware, all of our blog articles can be accessed using a "feed", meaning that you can receive the latest articles without visiting the blog (instead you get notified that there are new articles, and can read some or all of each article). But did you know that you can also access our blog audio feed (yes - you can have the articles read to you!) and our forum feed too?
There are many ways to receive or feeds, and we've created a page that explains in detail just how you can make use of this technology.

The Flying Dragon "bad rock" mould...

There's an interesting discussion taking place in the forum at the moment - all about what should be considered a mould change on a study. Obviously, changes to the crystal mean a mould change, as do the addition of extra parts / removal of parts as well. But what about different soldering techniques. Do they count as a mould variation? Join in with this discussion and make your point heard here.

Anyway, this discussion also led onto pieces that are rumoured to exist, but have not been seen by many, and that in turn led to the OY93 piece (The Flying Dragon) and the so called "bad rock" design that was remoulded. Does it exist?

Well yes, this piece is around and we've now been sent an image of it to prove how mould 1 and mould 2 varied. You can see the images in the prototypes section (but please, cover the eyes of the young and faint hearted first!!)

In the prototypes section

There are new images of rare painted pieces in the prototypes section of the website. You can see how three studies from the Lord of Rings range (Treebeard, The Balrog and Faramir) look when painted, as well as the Independent piece The Beast's Treasure.

This years member only pieces - Flight of the Dragons (9036) and Mystic Alliance (9037) - have their tales about to be told in the subscribers section of the website, thanks to the arrival of the pieces from TM Collectables.

Xystos have sent us details of the new releases coming later this year. You can see a list of the 3 large, 3 medium and 1 independent piece here.

Good News!

We've managed to reach the website files that were held on the older, broken computer and so have now managed to update the main page, vote page, and added the April newsletter to the site as well.
Hopefully, we're now back to normal with the website. :-)
